We had the Harpoon Fishing Club out striper fishing  for their last trip of the year. It was a memorable one for them as they boated 28 keepers released another 20 or so and plenty of blues to keep the rods bending all day. This fall striper run is a good one get in on it before it is too late!

Brian Keating and friends were on the Nan Sea J today for a combo trip. Put together a nice catch of bass just short of our limit along with lots of big bluefish. Hit a rockpile for a good tog bite and put a bunch in the boat along with many, many throwbacks.

Had Ron Spitz and friends out for the good jigging south of Shark River Inlet. Fishing was good and we needed 1 fish to limit out. By mid morning the SSW winds were too much and we could not land that last fish. Crawled home in 8 footers and were in early by 1:00pm.  Still, good while it lasted.

John Barnas and friends were out on the Nan Sea J today. More bluefish than bass today but still a good showing of the linesiders. These blues are big too, up to 16lbs.
