5-9-11 Big bass off Belmar

Leaving Shark River at low tide with the Jason Pillegi charter we ran into something we never saw before. A deer was walking along the bulkhead on the Avon side, probably will never see that again! Right outside the inlet the bunkers were there and so were the bass. Biggest fish of the year so far with most 30-35lbs. The 6 man crew went 9 for 19 and we were back at the dock by 2:00pm. Heard the afternoon bite was red hot.
