6/22/11 Shark trip

We did our Wednesday shark trip and had plenty of bites from the toothy critters. Blue sharks were eating us alive with 2 dozen hooked and released and many more that were avoided on purpose. It was Chris Flamini on the rod when our mako hit and after a short battle the fish was subdued. The 68" fish had a long line hook in his mouth and a really big ball of line in front of his face. It seemed the skinny mako was having trouble eating.
